Overview

ToDoLinks ("we", "our", "us") is a personal link-saving app for iOS. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.

Data We Collect

Account data: Your name and email address, obtained via Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, used to create and authenticate your account.
User content: Links, titles, notes, tags, and column names that you save inside the app.
Usage data: We collect basic product-usage events (such as app opens, saving a link, opening the reader, and running a search), linked to your account ID. We do not collect crash reports, advertising data, or cross-app tracking data.

How We Use Your Data

To authenticate you and sync your saved links across sessions.
To power the AI search feature: your search queries are sent to our backend (hosted on Vercel) and processed using the Anthropic API. Queries are not stored beyond the duration of the request and are not used to train AI models.
To understand how the app is used and improve it: usage events are processed by PostHog (a product-analytics service). This data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to track you across other apps or websites.

Data Storage

Your account and content data is stored in Supabase, a US-based database service. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

Supabase — authentication and database storage.
Vercel — backend API hosting.
Anthropic — AI processing for search queries (no data retained for training).
Sign in with Apple — optional authentication via Apple ID.
Sign in with Google — optional authentication via Google Account.
PostHog — product analytics (usage events linked to your account ID; see "Usage data" above).

We do not use advertising networks or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell your data.

Your Rights

Access: You can view all your data inside the app at any time.
Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app (Settings → Delete Account). You can also contact us at the email below; we will process deletion within 30 days. Deleting your account also removes your analytics data.
Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data.

Children

ToDoLinks is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
